To be in and out of a competition (psychologically) is far easy than being in it for every single second, minute and hour. As then, you are not relying on a remote blessing from the beyond, but your own self-abilities to make a telling statement.

A little birdie has told me that the unremitting pressure to up the ante will take its toll on one of the remaining women in America’s Next Top Model season 18 episode 11, scheduled to hit the airwaves on May 16, 2012.

The women are in the splendorous Hong Kong not just to dilate their eyeballs at the sight of the place’s scenic charm. And this reality will at the forefront in the next due installment. Right after the girls get immersed in go-sees, a contestant would encounter a weak moment under the mounting weight of expectations.

Then on, the posing-session for ‘Dream Come True’ fragrance will make the girls feel the jitters, as the establisher of Hatch Beauty, Ben Benett monitors their ‘just for the camera’ changing moods.

Other big names that will keep a close watch on the ambitious women are, of course, Tyra Banks along with special judge Jez Smith (noted cameraman), who will give company to Kelly Cutrone and Nigel Barker.

With the competition moving towards a critical phase, we are eager to know that girl, who ruled the roost, this time round.

Who is she? Do you have any guesses?

What can you expect the least from the out and out modeling competition, ‘America’s Next Top Model?’ Most probably, girls shying away from the constant camera glare, gushing sermons on spirituality, washing off all their make-up to reveal their real selves, or enjoying an overeating spree.

But what about them learning to kick some butt?

It’s a scene you and me wouldn’t have imagined in the wildest of our dreams! America’s Next Top Model season 18 episode 10, scheduled to release on May 9, 2012, will bring out the warrior hidden in the hot, svelte girls.

And Hong Kong is the exotic location where the wannabe models will showcase their bone-crunching punches and lightning-fast kicks. They will hone the art to make an aggressor bite the dust alongside international star, Nicholas Tse.

Hong Kong is a place that used to be one of my favorite destinations, but of late, the enhanced impetus to urbanization has faded out some of its charm.
Nevertheless, I am pretty sure that the remaining four contestants will have an absolute blast out there.

After posing as wounded tigresses, they will climb up to a skyscraping tower to initiative an on-camera play of expressions as it rains cats & dogs and strong winds howl through their tresses.

Stay tuned to the grand talent hunt to know which dream-weaver will face the axe of elimination after being so close to being crowned as the America’s top ramp-queen.

The previous ANTM segment saw tensions soaring on stage to unbelievable extents, as the competition toughened with every week that passed by.

As the installment rolled towards its end, the contestants were almost prepared to face the brunt of Tara and their panel of judges.

A PSA of 2 minutes had to be created for Tyra’s ‘Beauty Inside and Out’ contest. Now this wasn’t as easy a task as it sounded like. It required participants to focus on anti-bullying strategies, designed to showcase their individual talents.

Well, Tara wanted to instill all this on the show way back, but somehow couldn’t bring her idea into force until the last segment of ANTM.

The exercise turned out to be an extremely emotional one for contestants came out with feelings that they never could have imagined vomiting in public. As the two teams of four girls each battled on stage, the audience found it difficult holding back its tears.

Sophie’s decides to punish her man as soon as she reached back home, for he did manage to ridicule her PSA. On the other hand, Kyle and Alisha could not hold up well as art-installations by the side of the night’s performing judge, Estella.

America’s Next Top Model season 18 episode 8 will see the models competing for a casting, in order to gain a single chance to inaugurate a fashion-show for Dorchester Collection fashion Prize finalists, in the presence of the most celebrated talents from the world of fashion.
To watch out for will be the guest judge for the night, Georgia Chapman, as she joins Tyra Banks, and Nigel Barker as the jury.

Contestants and the audience can expect some tough decisions, for a participant from the ones performing in the forthcoming segment will not be able to make it to America’s Next Top Model season 18 episode 9.

Laura loved her teddy bear more than anything else. Someone, close was aware of her attachment to that teddy, and probably, wanted the world to see the impact of damaging the stuffed toy on her.

By the way, Laura would have shot me right away for using that phase, ‘soft toy’. It was her teddy, and she wanted to imagine it as a living creature, a part and parcel of her life.

So, who else could we expect to be the villain in here than Sophie? Well, she played it smartly by portraying her ripping an ear off the teddy, as an accident. Laura was indeed, heart-broken, but she somehow, did not allow Sophie’s intentions to flower by not letting her depression hold her back from the challenge.

Lisa, the all-star season winner, segregated contestants in two teams, the U.S.A and the U.K. To help each of them, create a music video in the professional studio, Tyra Banks imparts a lesson or two in booty-touching.

A proud AzMarie dished out a lot of attitude with the butt pads, as a result of which, she was excluded from the lesson by Tyra.

It was a complete British invasion, when it came to the music video for the team from U.K. showed exemplary levels of unity, and professionalism, while Kyle’s less sexy, and more scary expressions brought down the contestants from U.S.A.

AzMarie was punished with a ticket for a flight back home, awarded to her at the end of the show.

America’s Next Top Model season 18 episode 7 will find the girls taking part in creating a PSA for an Anti-Bullying Campaign. A personal video message from a loved one is what the winner will be competing for.

The photo-shoot promises to be one to watch out for, as singer Estelle (also the guest judge for the night) will be on-stage with the models, who’ll be posing as art-installations, while the dinner-party will be hosted, side-by-side.

Mr. Jay’s invitation to the launch of his second collection in Toronto, Canada was there calling the calls to get ready for a short trip to Canada.

The very name of the fashion week brought a lot of relief to the British contestants, who till then assumed catwalks to be the most dominant feature of the event. They knew their American counterparts were no match, when it came to walking the ramp, but what they never knew was that cat walking was only a small part of the entire event in Canada.

To watch out for was the way the contestants started looking for casting agents, in order to land up with as, many jobs in the fashion week, as possible.

Though the ladies looked wonderful and the ambience was as glittery, the reality under the lights was absolutely different. It wasn’t easy to get hold of those casting agents, let alone cracking a deal with them. But then at stake, were valuable pieces from Jay’s collection, along with an exclusive trip to Canada. Hence, the contestants had to put in everything they had, and so did they.

Annaliese and Azmarie were the finest on the ramp, and Ebonui and Sophie, were as good on the runaway. Azmarie wins the top position, and Catherine trickles down to the bottom.

Unable to bag employment, Simon turns bitchy, forcing Mr. Jay to pull her aside for a conversation.

Eboni and Sophie proved themselves the best till this stage, and won themselves a free trip to Calgary Stampede.

America’s Next top Model season 18 episode 6 will find former ANTM champion, Lisa D’ Amato mentoring participants, as they get ready to shoot and record music videos.

Ex-Pussycat Doll member, Jessica Sutta, and Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle will be joining in, as guests judges for the evening.

The time for cut throat competition is here as the girls would hit the ramp. And if you are thinking that it is pretty simple and what is so difficult and complicated about this, then I must tell you that the ladies would be walking in one of the fashion weeks that are organized in Canada.

Now, that is a going to be one tough task for the ladies as this would be the first experience for many to walk on the ramp in front of the fashion connoisseurs. The contest is getting tougher and tougher as the models are being given difficult task to prove themselves. Watch the upcoming segment America’s Next Top Model season 18 episode 5 in which Beverly Johnson is going to be the guest judge.

Talking about Beverly Johnson, this veteran model is known in the industry. Not only a model, but she is also a successful business woman and actress. Her career touched new heights when she was featured on the cover page of Vogue (America) in the August issue (1974), apparently, she is the first black woman to feature on the cover of this prestigious fashion periodical. Also, in 1975, she made to the cover page of Elle (France), a great feat in itself.

A popular newspaper, The New York Times titled Johnson as one of the most influential people in fashion of the 20th century. If she is coming in the show, the girls can learn a lot from them but at the same time, she being a veteran can be quite difficult to please.

In each chapter of the current cycle, the models are asked to do a certain task, like in the last one, they had to sell a product and it was a great one. Candace is bad when it comes to selling coffee or you can say selling anything and she was kicked out of the competition. There was a lot of drama as she thought that Kyle might leave the show but she didn’t and she had to depart.

Who is going home this time as the models hot the runway?

Ever since the supermodel scorched the ramp for Tyra Banks’ beauty hunt show America’s Next Top Model, she has been an important part of the TV industry.

And with the news of yet another show hiring her, it seems her career is set to take a giant leap forward. Buzz is on that DaCosta has been roped in for an untitled drama that is up for a pilot on ABC.
