Heya Folks !!! The very handsome Nigel Barker, the photographer turned judge of our favorite show America’s Next Top Model has become daddy again. Jasmine [What a cute name, no??] was born on the seventh of December in New York and is the second child of Nigel with his wife Cristen after their two year old son, Jack. And you know what??? The baby weighed seven pounds and eleven ounces.
And guess who the Godmother of the cute little Jasmine is???

Well, it is Tyra Banks, the creator and the host of the show AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, a colleague of Nigel. Even on a website Nigel confirmed that Tyra would be asked to be the Godmother.
Well Congratulations to the proud parents and also to would be ‘Godmother’.
Kudos to The America’s Next Top Model.!!! The show simply rocks!!!!

Wednesday night was going to different, not only for the three final contestants of the show, but for everyone who watches the series. I mean it is obviously a tense moment for everyone when Tyra is about to announce “and America’s Next Top Model is…” your heart misses a beat. And, then comes the moment when she announced and the crown goes to, and the lucky one is “Mckey Sullivan”. I just knew it that she is going to make it, don’t believe me, you can check my last post, where I have mentioned that Mckey is my favorite and really want that she should become the America’s Next Top Model. Believe me I am so happy for her, if you ask me she has been my personal favorite through out the season and I have always thought that she has the potential to be there, where she is right now.

With three girls left Analeigh, Samantha and Mckey, it is Mckey who is able to impress the judges the most through her pictures and performances. Analeigh becomes the second last to leave the show, making Samantha the runner-up of the series. The nineteen year old when announced the winner of the show, said that “I’m so proud of myself right now.” The girl, who was always considered a tomboy, said that she entered the show thinking of giving it a try. She said that “I was going to try out…and this was going to be it…Now I’m America’s Next Top Model and from here this isn’t the end. I’m going to keep going and keep rising…It’s just like a dream come true.” The judges were also very proud of her and said that she is unique and has the potential to take herself to the next level.

Well, congratulations to you for your win and we all are too very proud of you. We just hope that your, this win will open door for future wins. Here’s wishing you all the very best for glorious upcoming days.

On November 19, what you will have is the finale of the eleventh season of the ‘America’s Next Top Model’, therefore bringing an end to another successful season of the series. With less than a week left for the season finale, I am sure the curiosity level is quite high, at least among all those people who are regular viewers of the series. Well, if you ask me, then there is one question that has become a matter of constant thought for me, who out of three will take the crown, this time. With three girls left Analeigh, McKey and Samantha, I am sure the competition is going to be a tough one. I am not sure what the rounds will be for the finale, but if all is like the previous ten seasons, then the last three contestants will have to do a commercial for CoverGirl. After which one of them will get eliminated and then the final two will have to do a walk on ramp for a high profile designer. And, then will come the moment for which all of us are waiting. No one else than our own Tyra, will announce the winner, once again repeating her famous line “and the ‘America’s Next Top Model’ is……”

Well, we will have to wait for that moment and while the wait is on, guys, any guesses? Who do you think will be ‘America’s Next Top Model’? I know that it is a difficult question as three of them are equally good and have the potential. But, it is only one who will win and if you ask me, then, my personal favorite is McKey. And, I am really of the view that she deserves to win the position, she has delivered a constant performance throughout, has improved a lot which is quite apparent and above all has never been in bottom two.

Actually, we will have to wait for the judges to take the final decision. I just hope that the best girl wins and all those who want to take part in the series next season get ready as the auditions will happen soon.

Whenever someone enters a reality show, the one thing that they have in mind is that now they will come out triumphant. We all, definitely, want to be positive of ourselves, but nothing is easy. Last time on ‘America’s Next Top Model’ only four contestants were left and this week they had to eliminate one. It was Marjorie who had to say goodbye to all, marking an end to her journey of becoming ‘America’s Next Top Model’. I am sure it must have been a very intimidating moment for Marjorie, when the judges would have announced that she is the one who will have to leave the show.

Ever since Marjorie entered the show, the judges had shown their faith on her. They were always of the view that she had potential. But, this time she was not able to impress them; they were of the view that she had lost her charm somewhere, simply in order to impress judges. They said that they wanted to see her spark, which was present when she entered the show. Judges were confused between Samantha and Marjorie and finally they decided on Marjorie as they thought that at such a stage when competition was so close they were not expecting such a performance from anyone. And, I personally I feel that Marjorie was herself responsible for her elimination. Her odd behavior at the party last night, where she got drunk and made a fool of her self, she definitely attracted the attention of judges towards her. Above all, at the party it could be seen that she had become too proud of her win last time. All these factors were enough to get in the bad eyes of the judges and the result is in front of all of us.

Well, Marjorie I think this came as a lesson for you too. But, there is one thing that I, too, like judges feel that she definitely has potential and has the looks and attitude to be a good model. Here’s wishing you all the best for your future. And, we hope that the series served as a platform for you and that you would still be able to do what you always wanted to do.

As we all are aware of the fact that ‘ANTM’ is currently running in its eleventh season, being in the middle of the eleventh season there are only five contestants left in the show and the competition is getting tougher with every episode. In the last episode of the series remaining five contestants Marjorie, Samantha, Elina, McKey and Analeigh had to face a real tough competition. This time it was the photo shoot for them. The contestants then had to take their pictures to the designers and impress them. The photo shoot was done by none other than Tyra Banks.

They all had to take their pictures to four designers and make an impression on them. But none of them could manage impressing them all, except for Mckey, who could impress all of them but was sadly disqualified, as she showed up to the initial location five minutes late. The next in the row was Analeigh, who was also the winner of the episode and won $18,000 worth of designer clothes. As far as Elina and Samantha are concerned they both were simply able to impress two designers. Marjorie to the disappointment of all was able to impress none at all, because she was too nervous all the time. So, here comes the final verdict Samantha is too profitable, Elina has too many tattoos, Analeigh has nice hair but tries too hard, and Marjorie is too nervous. But, as far as the pictures were concerned it was Samantha who took it.

And, lets not forget the last part of the show and for sure the most exciting one too, the elimination round. Elina and Marjorie were in the list of bottom two and it was Elina who had to say good bye. Marjorie managed to make it in the show despite being so nervous through out the show.

Well, girls this is a warning for the rest of you, either you listen to the suggestions of the judges or else you are out of the show. And, as you all know that the competition is getting tougher, so brace yourselves if you have to make it to the top.

Relax guys, I know, the series is a favorite of millions of us and I, myself, am a fan of America’s Next Top Model. Well, I have seen almost all the seasons of the series and every time I watch the series, I get equally involved in the series. One reason that I am a fan and a regular watcher of the series is the quality that it has maintained over the years. This is one show that knows what is expected out of it and how to deliver the same to the viewers, year after year. Never has it made me feel that the show is a waste of time and the creators are just following a trail simply because it has to be there. The show is also my favorite one because it provides a platform to all those who are interested in modeling, taking them towards their goal and providing them huge exposure which is a must, when you are in this line.

The series’ popularity can be seen from the fact, that per year two seasons are broadcasted, which has never been done before, with any other series. Another reason behind the popularity of the series is its host Tyra Banks, also the creator of the show. Being a super model herself, Tyra very well knows what kind of training a contestant must go through in order to be a successful model. She and other judges together make the contestants go through a rough ride; fully preparing them for the life style they are going to be a part of.

Well, I guess these are reasons big enough, for any series to be a part of our lives for such a long time. The creators of the show have been doing a great job and their effort is commendable. I am of the view that the series has a long way to go and will have many more successful seasons in years to come.
