The world of glamour has always been a kind of mysterious world to almost all of us. Especially to people who have just adorned it from outside and never got a chance to see the realities and the authenticity of the show biz. Many of us have always wanted to be a part of this world, but never got an opportunity or probably didn’t know how to enter this glamorous world. Well, as most of you know, ‘America’s Next Top Model’ is a doorway to this world of glamour. The show gives you an opportunity to show your potential and talent, thus getting a direct entry into the modeling world. The show acts as a platform for people who have flair towards modeling. Nevertheless, the journey is a bumpy one.
As far as the stratagem of the show is concerned, Tyra Banks, the creator of the show, is also a top model and one of the judges on the show. She with other team members organizes an open round from where they choose around ten to fourteen girls who, they think have the potential to be in the race of being ‘America’s Next Top Model’. So, these chosen girls fight each other as every week in each episode one of the contestants is eliminated. In the series, the contestants are judged with different tasks that are assigned to them. In each episode they are usually assigned tasks with a theme from the world of modeling, such as dealing with the press, posing for some product, shooting on beaches or even at times with animals. As with each episode one of the contestants is chucked out, the one with the most potential stays and wins, thereby getting some good modeling assignments and welcoming them to the world of modeling.
Obviously, this reality series is quite a success as it has been around for more than five years. The series is currently running and is a great help to all those who have potential and the ones who are looking for a platform which can assist them to the top. ‘America’s Next Top Model’, for sure, is a show that helps people, achieve their goals on life.
