Whitney Thompson is the recent winner, i.e. tenth cycle, of the ‘America’s Next Top Model’. Before entering the show she had already appeared on the cover of Jacksonville magazine three times. From the time that she was on the show she was generally not liked by the judges because of her performances and because of the fact that her appearance was close to that being fake. Despite being not liked by the judges she still made it to the top. Her prize included a contract with ‘CoverGirl’ cosmetics and Elite Model Management. She also received a prize of a cover page and a six-page editorial spread in the July 2008 issue of ‘Seventeen’.
Besides the prize that she got, she was featured in interviews in magazines like People and In Touch Weekly. She also appeared on shows like Live with Regis and Kelly, Entertainment Tonight, Extra, The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, E! News, and The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet.
As for now, she is a spokesperson for Smile-Stylist and Right Fit. Currently, she did an advertisement with Metrostyle, Salon Z and Eclectic Jewelry. She has also walked the ramp for JCPenney and Saks Fifth Avenue at New York Fashion Week 2008. As for her future prospects she will be doing a show called ‘Little in the Middle’ which will focus on girls with eating disorders. Recently, she also made an appearance on the eleventh cycle of the America’s Next Top Model and if everything goes fine will also appear on the season finale.
