Cycle 13 of America’s Next Top Model is on the voyage to be broadcasted on 9th September, 2009. The fourteen beauties who would compete to win hearts and prizes are Jennifer An, Lulu Braithwaite, Rachel Echelberger, Nicole Fox, Ashley Howard, Laura Kirkpatrick, Sundai Love, Brittany Markert, Bianca Richardson, Lisa Ramos, Kara Vincent, Erin Wagner, Rae Weisz and Courtney.
TYRA Banks, the creator and Star of the show, is more than thrilled to teach modeling this season and said that she is updating her plans and all the girls will get opportunity to give auditions. According to her, explaining beauty is next to impossible and every girl will be given a chance, in her show, to realize their dreams. She shrieked losing control, “I am beyond excited for Cycle 13. I’m rooting for all of you!”
Although the show has been criticized by many people and organizations like Yahoo’s “shine” website displayed that show gave wrong description for a model’s lifestyle as “always espousing empowerment and female strength and then forcing the contestants into embarrassing scenarios far outside the realm of real-life modeling.” In one scene participants “were made to wear bikinis so skimpy that the producers had to blur out Allison’s butt cheeks,” and presented a “creepily sexual mud fight,” after which she was “commended for taking her weave in her hand and whipping it around on the runway like a sexy feather boa.” It has been well said that when people start criticizing you, it means you’re on the track of success.
The show has been successful to win large number of fans, including me and my favorite contestant till now, Celia Ammerman who achieved fourth position and my love with her outstanding attitude and cool looks.
