America’s Next Top Model TV Show

Wednesday night was going to different, not only for the three final contestants of the show, but for everyone who watches the series. I mean it is obviously a tense moment for everyone when Tyra is about to announce “and America’s Next Top Model is…” your heart misses a beat. And, then comes the moment when she announced and the crown goes to, and the lucky one is “Mckey Sullivan”. I just knew it that she is going to make it, don’t believe me, you can check my last post, where I have mentioned that Mckey is my favorite and really want that she should become the America’s Next Top Model. Believe me I am so happy for her, if you ask me she has been my personal favorite through out the season and I have always thought that she has the potential to be there, where she is right now.

With three girls left Analeigh, Samantha and Mckey, it is Mckey who is able to impress the judges the most through her pictures and performances. Analeigh becomes the second last to leave the show, making Samantha the runner-up of the series. The nineteen year old when announced the winner of the show, said that “I’m so proud of myself right now.” The girl, who was always considered a tomboy, said that she entered the show thinking of giving it a try. She said that “I was going to try out…and this was going to be it…Now I’m America’s Next Top Model and from here this isn’t the end. I’m going to keep going and keep rising…It’s just like a dream come true.” The judges were also very proud of her and said that she is unique and has the potential to take herself to the next level.

Well, congratulations to you for your win and we all are too very proud of you. We just hope that your, this win will open door for future wins. Here’s wishing you all the very best for glorious upcoming days.

Whenever someone enters a reality show, the one thing that they have in mind is that now they will come out triumphant. We all, definitely, want to be positive of ourselves, but nothing is easy. Last time on ‘America’s Next Top Model’ only four contestants were left and this week they had to eliminate one. It was Marjorie who had to say goodbye to all, marking an end to her journey of becoming ‘America’s Next Top Model’. I am sure it must have been a very intimidating moment for Marjorie, when the judges would have announced that she is the one who will have to leave the show.

Ever since Marjorie entered the show, the judges had shown their faith on her. They were always of the view that she had potential. But, this time she was not able to impress them; they were of the view that she had lost her charm somewhere, simply in order to impress judges. They said that they wanted to see her spark, which was present when she entered the show. Judges were confused between Samantha and Marjorie and finally they decided on Marjorie as they thought that at such a stage when competition was so close they were not expecting such a performance from anyone. And, I personally I feel that Marjorie was herself responsible for her elimination. Her odd behavior at the party last night, where she got drunk and made a fool of her self, she definitely attracted the attention of judges towards her. Above all, at the party it could be seen that she had become too proud of her win last time. All these factors were enough to get in the bad eyes of the judges and the result is in front of all of us.

Well, Marjorie I think this came as a lesson for you too. But, there is one thing that I, too, like judges feel that she definitely has potential and has the looks and attitude to be a good model. Here’s wishing you all the best for your future. And, we hope that the series served as a platform for you and that you would still be able to do what you always wanted to do.

Relax guys, I know, the series is a favorite of millions of us and I, myself, am a fan of America’s Next Top Model. Well, I have seen almost all the seasons of the series and every time I watch the series, I get equally involved in the series. One reason that I am a fan and a regular watcher of the series is the quality that it has maintained over the years. This is one show that knows what is expected out of it and how to deliver the same to the viewers, year after year. Never has it made me feel that the show is a waste of time and the creators are just following a trail simply because it has to be there. The show is also my favorite one because it provides a platform to all those who are interested in modeling, taking them towards their goal and providing them huge exposure which is a must, when you are in this line.

The series’ popularity can be seen from the fact, that per year two seasons are broadcasted, which has never been done before, with any other series. Another reason behind the popularity of the series is its host Tyra Banks, also the creator of the show. Being a super model herself, Tyra very well knows what kind of training a contestant must go through in order to be a successful model. She and other judges together make the contestants go through a rough ride; fully preparing them for the life style they are going to be a part of.

Well, I guess these are reasons big enough, for any series to be a part of our lives for such a long time. The creators of the show have been doing a great job and their effort is commendable. I am of the view that the series has a long way to go and will have many more successful seasons in years to come.
