America’s Next Top model’s seventh season was aired on September 20, 2006. Out of thousands who appeared for the auditions only 13 could make it to the final countdown. Once the girls entered the house, they knew they would have to brace themselves and get ready for the fight. For their first challenge, the girls had to choose their own clothes, but the clothes that they were provided were male clothes and they had to wear them in the most feminine way they could and walk down the runway. At the end of the first round the judges decided to eliminate Christian. The girls, as usual, were given makeovers and their challenge this time was to do their make ups in the given time. They, then, headed for their photo shoot. Megan was chosen for the elimination.
The girls were given walking lessons from J. Alexander. For the challenge, they were made to catwalk over water. Judges decided to eliminate Monique. For the next challenge, the girls were made to pose as a contortionist. Their photo shoot was based on circus freaks, after the photo shoot, the judges decided to eliminate Megg, due to the lack of versatility in her pictures. This time the contestants were made to look like celebrities. At the end of the red carpet photo shoot the judges decided to send home AJ, as they felt that the spark was missing in her. This time, the girls had to look scary but they had to be sexy at the same time. This was the theme for their black and white photo shoot, whose photographer was Tyra. When the photographs came out the judges decided to get rid of Brooke. The girls got to play volleyball with athlete and model Gabrielle Reece on a beach. Their next assignment was a shoot in which they had to click their own photographs with the help of remote control camera. Their next photo shoot was for CoverGirl, after which was the elimination round. The judges decided to send home Anchal. Next, the girls took acting lessons from Tasha Smith. The girls were then taken to Barcelona, where their next photo shoot would take place. The girls had to shoot a commercial for Secret Deodorant. Jaeda was the one who was eliminated after this challenge. For their next photo shoot, the girls were taken to a bull fighting arena. Amanda and Michelle came in the bottom two and the judges decided to eliminate Michelle. An under water shoot, where the girls had to pose as nymphs was the next assignment for girls. When the photographs came out the judges decided to eliminate Amanda. The final three girls had to shoot a commercial for CoverGirl, after the shoot got over judges felt that it was time for Eugena to leave the show. With Melrose and CariDee left, their final challenge was a walk down the runway. Finally, it was CaireDee who was able to impress the judges and she was announced as the ‘America’s Next Top Model’.
